How do I book a session?

All sessions are by appointment only. Book online 24/7 through Mindbody at sarvaenergyhealing.com/book, or call 618-218-9638. Same-day appointments are often available.

Can I walk in without an appointment?

Sarva is appointment-only. James is not at the studio between sessions, so please book in advance. Same-day bookings are often available online through Mindbody.

What should I wear to my session?

Accepted Answer

For massage, you'll undress to your comfort level and be professionally draped throughout. For Reiki and sound healing, you remain fully clothed — wear something loose and comfortable.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations are subject to a $50 fee ($30 for 30-minute sessions). No-shows are charged the full session rate.

Do you offer prenatal massage?

No — prenatal massage is not currently offered at Sarva. Please consult your healthcare provider for a referral to a prenatal-certified therapist.

Is massage covered by HSA or FSA?

Accepted Answer

Sarva does not bill insurance directly. However, many HSA and FSA cards can be used to pay for massage therapy. Check with your plan administrator to confirm eligibility.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes — gift certificates are available for any service or dollar amount. Contact James at 618-218-9638 to arrange one.

Will cupping leave marks?

Accepted Answer

Circular marks are normal after cupping — they are not bruises. They're caused by blood drawn to the surface and typically fade within 3–7 days.

I've never tried Reiki — is it right for me?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. No experience is needed. Reiki is non-invasive, performed fully clothed, and gentle by nature. Many first-timers call it one of the most relaxing experiences they've had.
